Dragon Spring by Bob Eggleton – featured in The Imaginariad Collection
Bob Eggleton is a legendary force in the world of science fiction and fantasy art, renowned for bringing epic creatures, sweeping alien vistas, and cosmic drama to life with his unmistakable painterly style. Born in 1960, he has earned multiple Hugo Awards and become a go-to illustrator for some of the biggest names in the genre, including Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, and Greg Bear.
Fans of Godzilla will instantly recognise his iconic contributions to the franchise, from explosive poster art to dynamic concept work. He has even lent his imagination to Hollywood, contributing to films such as Sphere (1998) and Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (2001). With a deep love for classic pulp and old-school sci-fi, Eggleton continues to dazzle audiences with artwork as bold and boundless as the universes he paints.
Presently, he is designing dragons and landscapes for actor/writer Todd Stashwick and David Nett’s tabletop RPG project, Dark Age of Theer—a new fantasy world that promises the same sweeping scope and visual impact that defines all of Eggleton’s work.
