Dave Seeley is an American painter and illustrator whose work celebrates the beauty, expressiveness, and symbolic power of the human form. Trained in both architecture and fine art at Rice University, he spent over a decade as an award-winning architect before shifting his focus fully to painting, where his deep interest in mythology, science, and human storytelling became central to his practice.

Renowned for his collaborations with Lucasfilm, Marvel, Sony, Microsoft, and Disney, Seeley has also exhibited widely, including at the juried IX Imaginative Realism show, and published his acclaimed monograph The Art of Dave Seeley.
